Microsoft Internet Explorer 2 is the next version of Internet Explorer, the popular web browser by Microsoft. It was published on November 22, 1995 for Windows NT and Windows 95. The first version for Apple Macintosh and Windows 3.1 was produced later in April 23, 1996. Internet Explorer has always been a great and popular browser, mostly because it was a pioneer of the early Internet – before a bunch of stuff and new technologies.
This version adds support for 24 international languages. But go back to the times, 23 years ago.
This version including the SSL, VRML, JavaScript, HTML3, RSA, PPP network, 16-bit email client, and Bookmark importer for Netscape. The Mac version of the browser supports AVI, QuickTime video, AIFF, MIDI, and WAV.
And who said that the JavaScript is new technology and modern programming language?
Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 and 2.1 are not supported and no longer available for download from Microsoft web site. However, you could find and download the final releases Internet Explorer 2.0 and 2.1 below on this page.
